Lin Yan was speechless. After hanging up the phone, Leng Mohan stood by the entrance of the women’s restroom. Many women coming and going cast curious glances at him, unable to understand why such a handsome and elegant man lingered outside the ladies’ room. They couldn’t help but stare at him.

A bold girl even approached him and struck up a conversation. “Hey, handsome, waiting for someone? Is there anything I can help you with?”

Leng Mohan raised an eyebrow, then replied gently, “Thank you. Could you please deliver this to my wife? Her name is Lin Yan.”

He then confidently handed the freshly purchased pack of sanitary products to the girl.

The girl was momentarily stunned; she hadn’t expected the man to actually ask for help, especially with something like this. A flicker of joy lit her heart, but soon a hint of disappointment followed. Since he said to deliver it to his wife, that meant he was married.

“Oh.” The girl awkwardly entered the restroom.

When Lin Yan emerged from the restroom, her cheeks were faintly flushed. She still wore that gray suit, her long hair tucked beneath the jacket. Because of her period, her lips were slightly pale, giving her a fragile, pitiful appearance.

She kept glancing back at her behind.

Suddenly, a voice sounded above her head, “Nothing’s showing, no need to keep looking.”

Lin Yan looked up and saw Leng Mohan standing very close in front of her, his chin nearly touching the top of her head.

“You... you haven’t gone in yet?”

Lin Yan thought he would have entered after delivering the sanitary products. She hadn’t expected him to wait outside, which made her even more embarrassed; her face grew redder.

“There’s no change of clothes here, maybe...”

“It’s fine.”

Leng Mohan’s words were cut off by Lin Yan’s firm reply.

“Are you sure?”

Lin Yan hesitated briefly, then nodded.

Leng Mohan frowned slightly at the wrinkles in her suit but said nothing. Instead, he reached out and wrapped the jacket around her more tightly, then took her waist and headed toward “Haoyue Xuan.”

Although displeased with the suit’s appearance, he had no other choice. Ultimately, he didn’t want Lin Yan to be embarrassed.

Along the way, Lin Yan kept glancing back at her rear and looking around anxiously.

“What are you looking for?” Leng Mohan suddenly asked coldly.

“Well, just now, the owner of this suit disappeared somewhere. I washed the clothes, so at least I should return them,” Lin Yan said softly.

“No need. I’ll buy him a new one,” Leng Mohan said indifferently. Then, with a hint of amusement, he looked at Lin Yan and asked, “Could it be you actually want to return the clothes that have, you know, your... stuff on them?”

“I said I washed them. Why are you so mean?” Lin Yan glared at Leng Mohan, her face growing even redder.

Leng Mohan said nothing more but tightened his arm around her waist.

Entering “Haoyue Xuan,” they inevitably became the target of playful teasing from others. Lin Yan said nothing; all she could do was maintain a Mona Lisa smile. She left everything to Leng Mohan.

After some idle chatter from him, everyone’s attention shifted, and they started talking among themselves.

Throughout the meal, Lin Yan felt like sitting on pins and needles, constantly fidgeting, afraid that something might show through the suit. Whether it was psychological or not, she felt this time it was more intense than ever before.
