Chapter 143: What Are You Doing?

My Little Sister, Luo Tianyi Innocent Little Angel 2269 words 2026-03-27 01:42:26

The girls, still playfully tussling, turned around and their eyes met Luo Chen’s. Both parties froze in place for a moment, and then the entire living room erupted into chaos.

Among those on the offensive, Le Zhengling and Yan He fared relatively well—their clothes were at most askew, exposing only small patches of fair skin within Luo Chen’s view. But Dai Xinhua was not so fortunate. As the one being attacked, her entire outer garment had been torn away, revealing large swathes of snow-white skin. If Luo Tianyi hadn’t been causing mischief nearby, even her underwear might not have been spared.

“Ah!!!”

Dai Xinhua was the first to react, hastily grabbing a small pillow from the sofa and pressing it against her head, looking mortified and utterly ashamed, as if she wished to disappear and never be seen again.

Luo Chen forced a wry smile and quietly turned away. There was really nothing to hide. Even with the most wardrobe damage, it was only on Dai Xinhua’s calves, arms, and abdomen—hardly anything serious.

But seeing the murderous glares from the girls, Luo Chen decided it was best to avert his gaze for the time being.

...

In the living room, five people sat around on the sofas. Luo Chen was seated across from his younger sister Luo Tianyi, carefully tidying her disheveled clothes.

No other choice—the others were all eager to avoid fixing their attire, so only Luo Tianyi completely ignored Luo Chen’s scanning eyes. In the end, Luo Chen had no option but to personally help his sister straighten out her outfit.

Beside them, three girls sat upright on the sofas. On the left, Le Zhengling and Yan He’s clothes were relatively neat, though their faces were slightly flushed and their expressions distant, lost in thought. On the right, Dai Xinhua sat alone, clutching the pillow she had grabbed, head lowered and body curled up as if trying to hide herself.

After fastening the last button on Luo Tianyi’s outfit, Luo Chen gently tapped her on the head. Ignoring her scolding glare, he glanced at the silent girls and asked, “Can someone explain what exactly happened here?”

“Well, the weather’s nice today, isn’t it?” Yan He turned her head slightly, avoiding Luo Chen’s gaze, but remained calm.

“Um... I just remembered something, so I’ll be leaving first,” Le Zhengling said, looking somewhat uncomfortable under Luo Chen’s stare. She shot Dai Xinhua a sharp glance before hastily rising and finding a flimsy excuse to make her escape.

Luo Chen watched Le Zhengling’s retreating figure, opening his mouth as if to call her back but ultimately staying silent.

It was odd—weren’t Le Zhengling and Dai Xinhua usually on good terms? Yan He wasn’t the type to get angry so easily either. Why did it feel like they were all avoiding him?

With Le Zhengling gone and Yan He and Dai Xinhua remaining quiet, Luo Chen turned his gaze back to Luo Tianyi.

“Don’t ask me—I really don’t know anything...” Luo Tianyi waved her hands helplessly when she saw Luo Chen looking at her, feigning innocence. But Luo Chen wasn’t fooled for a second. If it wasn’t related to his sister, he’d be the first to believe it.

Still, disbelief aside, Luo Chen had no way to make Luo Tianyi talk. After a long silent stare-down, he was the first to give in—he couldn’t exactly force her to spill everything.

He sighed, feeling his authority in the family slipping away. His sister used to be so obedient—could this be her true nature?

“Xinhua, how about you? Aren’t you going to say something?”

Luo Chen knew he wouldn’t get any information from Luo Tianyi, so he pinned his last hope on Dai Xinhua. But Dai Xinhua, obviously the most anxious to keep things under wraps, just avoided his gaze, mumbling and refusing to answer.

“Luo Chen, this is our little secret, you sure you want to hear it?” Luo Tianyi jumped in just in time, blocking Luo Chen’s next question when Dai Xinhua hesitated.

Hearing this, Luo Chen naturally dropped the subject. It wasn’t his place to meddle in the girls’ private matters. Although he suspected Luo Tianyi was probably covering for them, he didn’t mind. It was all just playful nonsense anyway. If the involved parties didn’t want to talk, he wouldn’t press.

“Tsk~ I was going to make up a story, but big brother’s getting less fun,” Luo Tianyi whispered with regret, clearly disappointed that Luo Chen showed no curiosity.

Less fun?

Luo Chen tugged at the corner of his mouth. Though Luo Tianyi spoke softly, he was sitting right in front of her—how could he not hear? Or maybe she wasn’t even trying to hide it at all.

The thought gave him a headache. Looks like he needed to discipline his sister properly sometime soon.

Hmm... maybe throw in a little punishment?

Like, for instance, if she didn’t behave...

“Luo Chen~?”

Luo Tianyi waved her hand in front of the dazed Luo Chen’s eyes, narrowing them with an annoyed expression. “You’re not thinking about anything bad, are you?”

“Ahem... of course not!” Luo Chen snapped back to reality immediately. Facing his sister’s accusing look, he denied it outright. Whether or not he was thinking such things, no fool would admit it.

Seeing Luo Tianyi’s doubtful expression, Luo Chen quickly found an excuse and went back to his room to prepare for his livestream. Let them make their noise—it wouldn’t amount to anything serious anyway.

After Luo Chen left, the remaining three girls exchanged glances. Finally, the two other girls shifted their attention to Luo Tianyi.

“Tianyi, don’t tell me you had no idea about this beforehand...” Yan He’s gaze grew more dangerous. Luo Tianyi had seemed to side with her earlier, but she’d actually been favoring Dai Xinhua all along. Did she think no one noticed?

“I only handle the drawing—the ideas all came from Tianyi!” Dai Xinhua threw aside the pillow she’d been clutching. If it hadn’t been for Luo Tianyi tempting her, she wouldn’t have touched any of this. She then stood up, cracking her knuckles as she closed in on Luo Tianyi.

“W-wait, Xinhua, how can you say that? Sister Yan He, this really has nothing to do with me!” Luo Tianyi’s face panicked as she backed away slowly, but soon found herself cornered. Yan He and Dai Xinhua exchanged a look and then together pinned Luo Tianyi down on the sofa behind her.

“Ah? Wait... no! I’m sorry! Luo Chen, help!!!”
