Reading Notice: This chapter contains considerable controversy.

On the Celestial Vault Star, there may exist only humans and no diverse intelligent species.

The protagonist will possess a humanoid body and intervene in the development of civilization, which may not appeal to some readers.

It is difficult to satisfy everyone, and coupled with the author’s lack of skill, I bow in apology!

...

Shen Xing knew this was only the beginning.

So, he chose to sleep.

During his slumber, the miracle of life seemed to find a breakthrough, blossoming at a breathtaking pace.

Bacteria... viruses... fungi... eukaryotic cells... sponges...

Jellyfish... flatworms... fish... tetrapods... reptiles... mammals!

The explosion of life began, and the entire world was transformed.

When Shen Xing awoke, the world had become a paradise for dinosaurs.

The rulers of the Mesozoic era had already lived on the Celestial Vault Star for hundreds of millions of years and had even evolved some unique species.

“What... what’s going on here?”

Shen Xing fell silent. He sensed that he must have slept for a long, long time. Perhaps because of his existence, the land was vibrant and flourishing—dinosaurs, untouched by natural disasters or calamities, now dominated the entire continent, and even the seas teemed with dragons.

After observing for a while, he marveled at the wonders of life but soon made a ruthless decision.

Mass extinction!

He had just checked his own status panel again—civilization level was still stuck at the budding era. If the dinosaurs continued to thrive, humans might still appear, but the world would diverge significantly from Shen Xing’s expectations.

Though he regretted it, for the sake of humanity’s emergence, Shen Xing chose to make the dinosaurs yield.

Under Shen Xing’s control, the Celestial Vault Star began a sweeping purge.

Across the globe, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, and other disasters struck simultaneously.

The world was filled with the anguished howls and desperate roars of dinosaurs, but Shen Xing’s consciousness remained unmoved, leaving him somewhat at a loss.

Although Shen Xing was not a paragon of virtue, he had never before experienced wiping out the life of an entire planet.

Was it because he was now a planet? Or was it for some other unknown reason?

Shen Xing felt no discomfort at all; it was as if he were watching a movie. This hellish tableau, even though he had created it himself, he could still critique from a god-like perspective.

For Shen Xing, it happened in an instant.

Within a single day and night, more than ninety-five percent of the world’s dinosaurs had been destroyed. The few that remained were barely clinging to life.

Shen Xing sighed, then casually lifted a portion of the undersea continent, gathering the remaining dinosaurs together, allowing these creatures—destined to be abandoned by time—to spend their final moments.

With Shen Xing’s conscious manipulation, the planet grew orderly once more, and the creatures on the supercontinent began to evolve slowly.

...

At last, within just a few hundred thousand years, primates advanced rapidly, just as Shen Xing had anticipated.

During this period, the last of the dinosaurs died naturally in the paradise Shen Xing had created for them. From then on, dinosaurs vanished from the world forever.

Yet Shen Xing left Dinosaur Island behind, as a testament to the life that once existed.

When the new humans appeared, Shen Xing finally noticed a change on his panel.

[Celestial Vault Star]

[Level: Planet]

[Fundamental Power: Ability to manipulate gravity and consciousness]

[Unity of All Things: Can fuse tangible and other matter upon contact]

[Creative Authority: Possesses the right and ability to create life and matter unconditionally, including recreating existing life and matter]

[Celestial Remodeling: Ability to transform the geology, atmosphere, and other environmental aspects of controlled celestial bodies]

[Existence Conversion: You can transfer part of your existence into the life or matter you have created, thereby granting them use of the main body’s abilities]

[Civilization Level: Stone Age]

“There are even more incomprehensible things now...” Though Shen Xing could sense his immense power, his means were limited to the scope of his own understanding. If he overreached, the consequences might outweigh the gains.

As Shen Xing pondered this, he suddenly noticed some strange new things on his panel—a cursor-like presence moving about, piquing his curiosity.

He tried clicking on the “consciousness” entry with the cursor, and, to his surprise, a detailed interface appeared.

[Consciousness: May allow individuals to influence the material world through thought]

“So this cursor might have appeared simply because I wished for it?”

Shen Xing roughly grasped the nature of consciousness—it was akin to the idealist philosophy that spirit precedes matter. As long as he willed it, he could influence reality to a certain degree.

For example, if Shen Xing imagined a glass of water in his hand, one would truly appear out of thin air.

“How fascinating...”

He played with this for a while, finding it rather novel. While legendary feats like elemental control could be achieved through celestial remodeling, such powers could not be used in the vacuum of space, whereas consciousness was without limits.

After experimenting with the range of consciousness, Shen Xing’s attention returned to the new humans.

After some thought, Shen Xing used his creative authority to evolve a new body for himself—one that looked entirely ordinary, much like his appearance before reincarnation.

With a thought, he used existence conversion to transfer a part of his consciousness into this new body.

...

When he opened his eyes again, Shen Xing was already in the rainforest. With a wave of his hand, he dispersed the rainclouds in the night sky and conjured a set of clothing woven from plants to cover his bare body.

He found the grass-woven clothing both comfortable and possessing a certain refined quality that did not surpass the era.

Satisfied, Shen Xing nodded, then floated gently into the air, heading forward.

The rainforest night was tranquil, broken only by the rhythmic calls of animals.

After flying for a while, Shen Xing found a human settlement. Everyone seemed to be asleep. When he appeared on the outskirts, a muffled drumming echoed through the settlement, and soon, from nearly every grass hut, several primitive people emerged, holding stone weapons.

Looking at their grass dwellings, Shen Xing couldn’t help but secretly admire them. In this era, they could already construct such large-scale buildings—truly a testament to their ingenuity.

“...&&...#...Who are you, and why have you come to our tribe...”

Thanks to the power of consciousness, Shen Xing quickly grasped the meaning of their primitive syllables.

“You may call me the Messenger of the Star Father.” Shen Xing pointed to the starry sky above, then to a man within the settlement, clearly expressing his intent.

“Star Father? What is that?” A strong woman stood at the front of the group, appearing to be the tribe’s leader. She questioned Shen Xing.

“Star Father is a god.”
