Chapter 102: The New Human Federation
“There are human civilizations existing in the higher realms of the universe!”
“What!”
“That’s impossible!”
“Humans?!”
Su Xiaoyi, Ye Lian, and Qu Shixin all exclaimed in shock almost simultaneously.
“Savice! Explain yourself!” Ye Lian stepped forward, her divine energy swirling uncontrollably around her. Her sharp gaze pressed, “What do you mean? Aren’t Earthlings originally from Earth?”
“If humans exist in the upper universes, could they also be the descendants of the Star Father?” Su Xiaoyi pondered this possibility deeply.
Upon learning that the universe is structured like a ladder, this revelation was a bombshell to them.
“I heard about this before,” Savice admitted.
“I have no intention of betraying Commander Yesru. The High Priest should be well aware of what I’m thinking.”
Savice looked into Shen Xing’s profound eyes. Shen Xing did not blame him.
Because Shen Xing had read his thoughts; Savice hoped that once this information was exposed to the High Priest, they might even come into conflict with the higher human civilizations.
He knew the helplessness of Commander Yesru, who was caught in turmoil due to orders passed down from the upper civilizations.
Yesru was a proud Saiwei.
It was precisely because of this so-called higher human civilization that Yesru constantly searched for Earth’s existence, which made him restless, feeling it was a betrayal of civilization.
Though Yesru appeared to want to utterly annihilate Earth, when Savice launched his attack, a certain phrase echoed in his mind:
“Savice, when you destroy the Earthlings, remember to spare some. You may choose the undercover agents or select them at random.”
This sentence reminded Savice of an incident from that day.
After Commander Yesru led the Saiwei fleet to conquer another life-bearing planet, they encountered a peculiar small flying craft.
Yesru gave the order to shoot it down without hesitation.
But no matter what weapons they used, the craft deflected every attack. Then, a lifeform identical to a human requested to communicate.
Yesru knew that this craft must be technology from a higher civilization, so he ceased his futile assault and chose to meet the individual.
Savice, once Yesru’s adjutant, waited nearby during the conversation. The man seemed unconcerned about being overheard and spoke privately to Yesru.
“That human… comes from the Fourth Supercluster, beyond our reach.”
“According to him, his civilization is called the New Human Federation!”
“As for his demeanor…” Savice showed a barely concealed disdain, “He seems to have no respect for Earth’s kind, only a morbid curiosity.”
“He claimed to be the owner of an exhibition hall, obsessed with collecting biological specimens from across the universe. For some reason, he urgently wants to find intelligent life on a planet called Earth to display them as exhibits.”
“That was his request.”
Hearing this, Su Xiaoyi and the others’ faces darkened.
They were lifeforms created by the Star Father, indistinguishable from Earthlings. Now, nearly everyone acknowledged the Star Father’s common origin theory. Earthlings had integrated into the Stellar Origin Civilization, all existing under the Star Father’s protection.
Yet this so-called New Human Federation held no respect for beings created by the Star Father and wished to place them in a showcase as mere curiosities.
“Utterly absurd!” Qu Shixin frowned in anger.
Savice instinctively glanced at Shen Xing, curious about how this unfathomable High Priest would react to the news.
Would he be angry like the others?
But Savice was destined to be disappointed.
Shen Xing showed little emotion toward the revelation. For someone growing as rapidly as he did, no matter how advanced a civilization, it would ultimately become cosmic dust.
But he was different—he could even become the universe itself!
Yet, due to his boundary explorations, Shen Xing knew that the universe had sensed his existence.
It feared.
It feared being replaced.
This cosmic ladder indeed posed obstacles for Shen Xing, but he was not alone.
His disciples, the entire power of the Stellar Origin Civilization, would open the path to other dimensions.
When he had absorbed every supercluster on every rung of the universe’s ladder,
A new universe would be born!
His gaze pierced through the dome of the Star Pavilion, once again fixed upon the profound and mysterious starry sky.
“I want to see what kind of scenery lies beyond this ladder.”
“And…”
“Whether the so-called higher beings… truly deserve the title of ‘higher.’”
Savice widened his eyes slightly. He did not know how far Shen Xing’s knowledge would reach upon hearing this information, but he understood that nothing could now prevent this civilization from ascending higher.
The students expressed their respect upon hearing Shen Xing’s words.
Shen Xing stopped extracting information from Savice. There was much to be done now. After casually asking a few insignificant questions, he gestured to Qu Shixin to escort Savice away and turned his gaze back to Xu Yiyi.
Artificial life.
This was part of his plan. The Stellar Origin Civilization’s expansion far outpaced population growth. Even within the Firmament Galaxy, several planets were sparsely populated.
Population is the foundation; without it, development potential is lacking.
Mass-producing beings like Xu Weiyi and Xu Yiyi, who were free from limitations and possessed independent thinking, was undoubtedly one of the fastest methods.
At the same time, Shen Xing was simultaneously advancing multiple projects, endlessly branching out the civilization’s technological development.
The Stellar Origin Civilization bore an almost zero trial-and-error cost under his guidance, so even researching various fields simultaneously would not slow progress.
Moreover, countless civilizations existed in this universe, serving as excellent nourishment for the Stellar Origin Civilization.
Shen Xing thought of this suddenly because a few inconspicuous little mice had stepped into his range of influence again.
Apparently, they were the dark energy thieves Savice had mentioned, along with several ships from the Albana Trade Consortium. Among them, he sensed energy fluctuations similar to those within Su Xiaoyi.
Finally, suitable individuals had delivered themselves.
“Get ready, both of you. It seems Savice has brought some little pests behind him. The upcoming battle is yours.”
Shen Xing gave the order to two people, who exchanged glances, realizing their teacher had once again detected enemy information. They immediately excused themselves.
“The feast has begun.”
