Page (1/3) Bonus update (10/10)
The ten promised updates for readers are now complete. There will still be the regular two updates today. I pulled an all-nighter and am utterly exhausted; my mind feels muddled.
Once I wake up and finish my work, I’ll continue updating.
...
Meanwhile, as the Earthling undercover agents arrived on Skydome Star, the planet had undergone a dramatic transformation.
Under Shen Xing’s command, the five major districts united to form a joint government to face the alien civilization.
With Skydome Star’s unifying force, all necessary tasks were swiftly consolidated, forming a complete society.
Now, the boundaries between the districts had been entirely erased, and all of human civilization stood united against external threats.
After returning from the trial of the Six Divine Attendants, each entered different sectors on Skydome Star to develop their careers.
Su Xiaoyi became the chief executive of the Skydome United Government, while Qu Shixin was appointed Minister of Defense. Both rose to the top echelons of the joint government.
Ye Wu founded the largest company on Skydome Star, named Starlight Group, whose operations spanned nearly every industry on the planet.
Ye Lian became the principal of Starvault Academy, dedicating herself to Skydome’s educational cause.
Lin Luan became a new academician of the Oracle Institute, pursuing ever-deeper scientific research.
The hot-tempered Yang Sa was appointed as the presiding judge of the Tribunal, upholding the rules and regulations of the Starvault Faith.
Institutions across Skydome Star quickly plunged into their respective work.
Of all their tasks, technological progress was undoubtedly the core focus. This was not only the High Priestess’s greatest concern, but also the key area Skydome Star desperately needed to leap forward.
...
In the outer reaches of Skydome Star’s space, a sleek, small spacecraft silently approached.
Inside, Natasha, having undergone consciousness editing and transplantation, had transferred her mind into a young girl’s body.
At this moment, she gazed at the blue planet below, a tumult of emotions rising within her.
“Professor Natasha, we have arrived at Skydome Star.”
“Avoid the central continent. We’ll enter from the other side.”

The spacecraft reached the hemisphere of Skydome Star enveloped in night, landing in Azure Sea City, where Yao Yuan and his group had once arrived.
This time, however, the ship quietly slipped beneath the sea, gliding toward the coastline of Azure Sea City.
Upon reaching the shore, Natasha and her fellow undercover agents waited patiently in the water until the early hours, the city’s quietest time.
They changed into Skydome-style clothing, equipped themselves with energy weapons, communicators, healing serums, and other essentials, and prepared to begin their undercover mission.
The small craft surfaced, depositing them on the shore before submerging again and vanishing into the vast ocean.
Natasha and the others set out on foot toward Azure Sea City, the most developed coastal city on Skydome Star and the starting point of their new lives.
After saying their goodbyes, each began seeking ways to blend into Skydome society.
“First, we need to secure identities and money, then figure out how to start investigating.”
Natasha took a brief rest at a small inn that required no identification. Afterward, she traded several small gold bars from her belongings at a local pawnshop at a loss to obtain some currency.
With funds in hand, her next hurdle was identity. Gaining official residency on Skydome Star was no easy task, as the Star Citizen Certificate was strictly regulated.
Although one could live without it, life would be fraught with inconveniences.
...
In the central temple, Yao Yuan and his companions, under the Tribunal’s watchful eyes, were granted limited freedom to move about Starvault City.
This freedom was a reward for sharing their scientific knowledge.
They understood well that their greatest contribution to Skydome Star lay in the scientific wisdom stored in their minds—knowledge that, even in the smallest measure, could act as a catalyst for Skydome’s technological advancement.
Thus, they chose to impart technologies that no longer posed any threat to Earth, trading this knowledge to Skydome scientists in exchange for their own freedom and comfort.
They began regularly traveling between the Central Temple and the Oracle Institute. At Shen Xing’s call, more and more Skydome scientists gathered at the Oracle Institute, immersing themselves in deep scientific research.
During these sessions, Yao Yuan was astonished at the lightning pace of the Skydome scientists’ progress—their capacity to learn and innovate far surpassed expectations.
Their rapid advancement even prompted the group to question whether they were unwittingly nurturing future rivals.
Why could Skydome’s scientists progress so quickly?
After a period of observation, Yao Yuan and his companions found an answer.

First, the intelligence of Skydome’s scientists was on par with their Earth counterparts.
Moreover, under the guidance of High Priestess Shen Xing, scientists had become the most esteemed professionals on Skydome Star.
The scientific field received unprecedented attention and ample funding; any breakthrough in invention or theory could bring personal recognition and reward from the High Priestess herself.
With honor and profit as dual incentives, the brightest minds flocked to scientific research.
Their motivation went beyond wealth—what they truly sought was honor.
Recently, under Shen Xing’s unified leadership, Skydome Star had eliminated barriers and waste between regions.
This system harnessed the advantages of focused collective action, channeling all resources toward shared goals.
On Skydome Star, with the High Priestess and the Starvault Faith governing jointly, all power and capital were but illusions.
Faced with this reality, Yao Yuan and his companions couldn’t help but reflect.
Zhang Yu sighed and said, “If Skydome Star is given enough time, their development will be unstoppable—they’ll become a formidable force in the universe.”
“And if science merges with the divine arts, that power will be far more than the sum of its parts,” murmured Yao Ling, her former vitality long gone.
“As long as the High Priestess remains, there will be no internal strife among Skydome’s people. If they acquire Earth’s technology, and devote themselves solely to advancing their civilization, they’ll surpass us in no time,” Yang Kui added, nodding in awe.
“Even if we worry about the fate Earthlings will face if we fail, it’s useless—there’s nothing we can do to change the High Priestess’s mind.”
Yao Yuan sighed; at present, he could see no future at all. Yet just then, the usually reticent Peng Wenyan spoke up in all seriousness: “There is a way that might save the people of Earth.”
All eyes turned to her; they knew Peng Wenyan never made empty claims. If she said there was a solution, she must have thought of something.
“Professor Peng Wenyan, do you have an idea?” Yao Yuan asked incredulously.
He truly couldn’t imagine what solution there could be under such circumstances to save Earth’s people from disaster.
Under the intense, hopeful gaze of the others, Peng Wenyan pronounced every word with deliberate clarity:
“We Earthlings can believe in the Star Father!”
