Ling Wei was furious—how dare that foul creature commit such a vile act against her! She opened her small mouth, baring her sharp little teeth, about to bite down, when something wet and slippery slid inside. Ah! How disgusting! Like a snake, utterly revolting.

The little one struggled even more fiercely, unaware that this only stoked the young man’s desire to conquer. His nimble tongue slipped into her mouth, invading bit by bit, drawing out the sweet nectar. His arms tightened their embrace, as if he wished to embed the tiny figure within himself, making her a part of his very being.

Unlike the boy, lost in the moment, young Ling Wei detested it deeply. That foul creature was truly repugnant! Why would she swallow his saliva? It was revolting. She vowed then and there to keep her distance, never to remain near such a disgusting fellow again.

The boy noticed the little one’s tightly furrowed brows and felt a surge of displeasure. That silly girl actually hated him! That could not be allowed.

Overwhelmed by an intense urge to possess and dominate, he grew ever more assertive. The little one’s frown deepened, her forehead creased with fine lines, her round face flushing crimson. She gasped as if struggling for breath.

Her gaze blurred until finally, her eyes closed, and she collapsed weakly into his arms. Alarmed, the boy checked for her breath and, finding all normal, exhaled in relief. Holding the fainted Ling Wei tightly, frustration welled up within him. He glanced at her rosy cheeks, pressed a gentle kiss upon them, then carefully laid her back on the bed. Wrapping her soft, fragrant body with a silken quilt, he shared the covers with her.

“Fool,” he murmured, “you are mine.” Before, he had found the little girl’s foolishness endearing, enjoying teasing her. But after this kiss, everything had changed.

In this life, he could only love—and would only love—the girl of his first kiss. The silly little one was his sole choice. This was the ancient rule of the Xuanyuan family, passed down unchanged for generations.

If the little fool were to learn this, who knew what chaos might ensue? The boy had not forgotten that beneath her seemingly obedient exterior, rebelliousness was deeply hidden.

Ling Wei fluttered her eyelids open slightly, and before her appeared a cold, golden mask. Her small hand itched to remove that detestable mask—once lifted, she would finally see what the foul creature truly looked like.

“Little fool,” the boy said half in jest, half serious, “if you take it off, you’ll be mine for life. Our family’s rule is clear—whoever removes it is my partner.” Only heaven knew how nervously the sweat beaded in his palm. What choice would this little fool make?

Ling Wei swiftly withdrew her hand, turning away disdainfully. “Who said I wanted to take off your mask? Hmph! I don’t know you! Get off my little bed! Leave here! I never want to see you again! Disgusting!” She glanced at the moist, red lips beneath the mask and averted her eyes with loathing.

“What did you say? How dare you speak to me like that? Do you know who I am? Angering me will do you no good.” The boy fiercely suppressed the urge to bite those soft lips that parted and closed so temptingly, issuing a fierce warning.

“Let go. Just seeing you makes me sick! You’re grown up and yet you eat other people’s spit! Disgusting! What are you doing? Let me go! Let… ugh…” Just as the little one was railing, her mouth was bitten again—the boy’s teeth sank in!

He wished he could swallow this disobedient little thing whole! How could such an inviting mouth utter words so infuriating?
