Chapter 6: Heavenly-Level Fishing Grounds, Breaking the Boundary!
Page 1/3
Today's Second Update: Chapter 006!
...
Fishing across the myriad heavens and worlds is no mere talk.
At a thought, Yu Le found himself within the Yellow-tier fishing grounds.
This was no ordinary fishing spot; it was like an endless ocean, and he stood on a solitary island at its very center.
Glancing at the surrounding reefs, Yu Le grinned, “There are quite a few good spots to fish from here!”
On the island stood only one structure: the Bait Exchange Market.
Though called a market, it was essentially an unmanned vending point.
Depending on one's needs and the clearly marked prices, one could trade for corresponding bait and...
Boats!
Yellow-tier First Stage Universal Bait, Price: One First Stage Spirit Core/Demon Core *1
Description: Attracts Yellow-tier First and Second Stage world fish
Yellow-tier Second Stage... Second Stage Spirit Core/Demon Core *1
...
Yellow-tier Ninth Stage... Ninth Stage Spirit Core/Demon Core *1
Description: Attracts all world fish within the Yellow-tier fishing grounds
Note: The further the world fish are distributed from shore, the higher their rank. To catch Yellow-tier Ninth Stage world fish, one must venture deeper into the world sea. However, beware of the fierce waves; only sturdy boats can withstand the ocean’s fury for deep-sea fishing.
This warning piqued Yu Le’s curiosity, but upon seeing the boat prices, he was stunned.
He also noticed that the vast ocean surrounding his island was divided into nine rings. The outermost ninth ring was the habitat of Yellow-tier First Stage world fish.
Yellow-tier First Stage Boats cost ten First Stage Spirit Cores/Demon Cores and can withstand the waves within the ninth ring of the Yellow-tier world sea.
By extension, to fish within the innermost ring of this Yellow-tier ground, one would need a Yellow-tier Ninth Stage boat costing ten Ninth Stage Spirit Cores/Demon Cores.
For Yu Le’s current means, that was astronomical!
Spirit Cores/Demon Cores of the Ninth Stage Rock Realm were priceless!
Fortunately, fishing boats weren’t single-use; as long as their durability held, they could be used repeatedly.
Besides these universal baits, there were also specialized baits for specific world fish, a constant across every realm.
The rank of a world fish represented the world plane unlocked and the quality of rewards gained after catching it, while the species indicated the type of rewards one could obtain.
World fish were generally divided into two categories: tangible items and abilities.
Page 2/3
Much like the difference between herbivorous and carnivorous fish.
More specifically, the tangible category included various items and materials with different attributes and uses, while the ability category encompassed skills and cultivation techniques.
There was a dazzling variety. Specialized bait prices weren’t necessarily higher than universal ones but had specific requirements concerning the kind and origin of Spirit Cores/Demon Cores.
Some baits were mixed types, particularly effective for certain world fish.
What fish to catch depended entirely on Yu Le’s choice and the types of Spirit Cores/Demon Cores he possessed.
“Even the cheapest Yellow-tier First Stage universal bait costs the equivalent of thousands of coins. Tsk, tsk… I wonder if these world fish are easy to catch. If I run out of bait without landing a single one, that would be a huge loss.”
The empty net syndrome never fails to show up.
World fish were still fish; there was no guarantee every cast would hook one.
At present, Yu Le didn’t even have Spirit Cores to exchange for bait—he had no chance to experiment.
For a fishing enthusiast, the quickest way to obtain Spirit Cores/Demon Cores was, naturally, fishing itself.
One could imagine that Yu Le’s future routine would be: fish in the outside world to collect Spirit Cores, exchange them for bait in the Fourth-tier fishing grounds, catch world fish to strengthen himself, then return to fish for even higher-tier fish in the outside world.
A self-sustaining cycle.
Though Spirit Cores/Demon Cores didn’t exist only within spirit fish—despite humans dominating the Human Domain, countless spirit beasts and demon beasts roamed there.
For Yu Le, fishing could be both a profession and a hobby, while other pursuits might serve as secondary occupations.
Fortunately, though he couldn’t satisfy his fishing urge here in the Yellow-tier grounds, Yu Le had one chance to fish in the Heavenly-tier fishing grounds, as well as a piece of Heavenly-tier Ninth Stage universal bait!
[Do you wish to enter the Heavenly-tier fishing grounds?]
The answer was naturally: Yes!
In a flash, Yu Le appeared amidst swirling clouds and mist. The sea of clouds roiled beneath him, and vaguely, various world fish of all shapes swam through it.
Reaching out, his palm revealed a pellet-like bait, like a red pill.
“So this is the Heavenly-tier Ninth Stage universal bait?”
Outwardly, it looked like any ordinary one-time-use bait, but converted into Yellow-tier bait, its price was unfathomable!
“Yellow-tier bait requires Spirit Cores/Demon Cores from Rock Realm spirit or demon beasts. What kind of cores does this Heavenly-tier bait require?”
Yu Le’s curiosity burned, though he knew nothing about higher realms.
He only knew he had a single chance to enter the Heavenly-tier fishing grounds this time.
Normally, he’d save this lone opportunity and bait for later, but now he couldn’t afford to wait.
Yu An’an’s life hung in the balance; his heart was aflame with urgency, and he wanted nothing more than to grow stronger quickly and bring his daughter home!
[Alert: Due to the host Yu Le’s current low realm, the Heavenly-tier fishing grounds have temporarily suppressed the power of the world fish here. No danger will be encountered. Please fish with peace of mind.]

How thoughtful!
Previously, Yu Le had even failed to hook a First Stage Bloodscale Grass Fish, and facing a Third Stage Phoenix Tail Carp had been life-threatening. By all rights, entering the Heavenly-tier fishing grounds was beyond his current level.
Thankfully, the system was considerate.
Summoning the Wishful Dragon Rod, Yu Le’s face showed a mix of excitement and tension.
Attaching the unimaginably valuable bait, Yu Le cast the rod with all his might.
“Please bite!”
Perhaps it was a prayer answered or a widely circulated novice blessing in the fishing world, but soon after casting, the entire Wishful Dragon Rod tightened fiercely!
Yu Le was overjoyed, “Greedy fish, come on up!”
The process was unexpectedly smooth. The small figure held a tiny rod, a slender line, and a tiny hook—beneath which a colossal fish, vast enough to blot out the sky, was caught!
One strike, and the huge fish filled the heavens. Yu Le’s face was full of hope.
After leaping into the air, the unknown species of giant fish shattered, transforming into a glowing orb. It led Yu Le’s hook, plunging him into the world corresponding to this world fish.
[Alert: Breaking the barrier into the anime world—One Piece: Marineford War Arc]
Huh?
From a sky-high perspective, Yu Le saw a battlefield strewn with devastation.
A thunderous shout rang out:
“I am a remnant of the old era! The New World holds no ship fit for me. One Piece is real!”
“That is...” As a post-95 generation, Yu Le was no stranger to this scene.
One of the Four Emperors, Whitebeard, after betrayal, fierce battles, witnessing Ace’s death, and fighting Blackbeard, ultimately died in an act of destruction against his foes!
Snapping back from the shout, Yu Le saw Blackbeard’s sinister laughter as he wrapped Whitebeard’s body in a black cloth, intending to use his Dark-Dark Fruit powers to imprison Whitebeard’s soon-to-be-resurrected Tremor-Tremor Fruit power and steal it.
Just as Blackbeard was about to complete his scheme, the fishhook, brought here alongside the world fish through the barrier, plunged into the black cloth covering Whitebeard.
The next moment, a spiraled, pineapple-shaped fruit was hooked.
Amid Blackbeard’s howls, the Tremor-Tremor Fruit power, originally belonging to Whitebeard, transformed into energy and flowed into Yu Le’s body.
The world shattered; Yu Le emerged unscathed.
